Unit staffing includes 2 RNs and 1 Patient Care Technician.
Telemetry equipment is utilized in this unit.
Documentation system: Meditech.
Scheduling requires every other weekend availability for 12-hour shifts.
Floating policy includes possible transfers to similar units or the Emergency Department for telemetry holds.
Patient experience requirements include bedside shift reports and hourly safety rounding.
Advanced skills required include performing general Med/Surg telemetry procedures and drawing labs.
Dress code requires navy blue uniforms.
This is a brand-new unit designed to provide 24/7 telemetry monitoring for patients.
