Description:
Locals within a specified mileage are accepted.
No requests for time off will be approved from mid-December to early January.
Shifts are from 07:00 to 19:30 and will be three days per week.
There is potential for block scheduling, but it is not guaranteed.
Weekend shifts are included in the expected schedule.
Travel partners are not allowed.
Contractors will support patients waiting for a bed in the emergency department, requiring inpatient care.
If there are not enough patients, they will float to observation units as needed.
COVID vaccination and flu vaccination are required (medical or religious exemptions only).
Facial piercings must be limited to certain types, and tattoos should be covered.
Scrubs must not have any agency or brand logos.
Scrubs should be navy blue.
Facility includes support teams such as IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
The daily patient census is approximately 36, with a focus on adult patient care.
Expected procedures will include caring for admissions and observation unit patients.
Candidates should have experience managing various medical procedures related to telemetry and patient care.
Interdisciplinary support will be available in several areas.
Compliance with policies is mandatory throughout the assignment.
