Key Responsibilities- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis, care issues, and develop individualized care plans
- Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide safe, compassionate care
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and provide health education to patients and families
- Supervise and delegate appropriately to various levels of nursing staff, utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment
Required Qualifications- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
- Minimum of two years of recent Telemetry or relevant nursing experience
- EPIC electronic health records experience required
- September start date required; holiday RTO will not be approved
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior acute care facility experience
- Experience in a cardiovascular or telemetry-focused care environment
