Description: This is a Cardiac Specialty Unit with 26 beds. Patient ratios on the unit are 1:4. The staffing includes a Charge Nurse, Bedside Nurse, PCT, and Unit Secretary. Equipment used includes pacemakers. The documentation system in use is Meditech. Self-scheduling is available for staff. Weekends require three weekend shifts within a four-week period on day shift. Four weekend shifts are required within a four-week period on night shift. There are no on-call requirements. Staff may float to Telemetry or Med/Surg units as needed. There are no specific certifications required for this position. The required uniform comprises royal blue tops and black pants.
