OneStaff Medical is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Louisiana.

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac/Telemetry Registered Nurse for a night-shift travel assignment. This unit primarily cares for cardiac and telemetry patients and is not a Stepdown unit.
Assignment Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour nights)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On-Call: None
- Floating: None
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5–6, depending on staffing
- EMR: Epic
- Scrub Color: Ceil Blue
- Temp-to-Perm: Possible
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of employment or Compact RN license
- BLS and ACLS (AHA) – Required
- Minimum 1 year of related nursing experience preferred
- BSN preferred
- Cardiac/Telemetry nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and changes in patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to facility protocols.
- Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and document care in Epic.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Additional Information: Facility-specific orientation and competency validation are required upon hire.
