Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) nursing position in Overland Park, Kansas. This role involves providing specialized patient care within a 28-bed Cardiovascular Care Unit that admits acute cardiac, stroke, and overflow patients. The nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality, safe, and efficient care while adhering to documentation and safety protocols. The position starts on December 14, 2026, and runs through March 15, 2027, with a focus on teamwork, patient satisfaction, and clinical excellence.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support); Education: Basic Dysrhythmia Certification, NIH Certification; Experience: 0 years minimum; Location: Overland Park, KS.
- Preferred Qualifications: Cardiac experience is a plus.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required to units such as Orthopedics, Neurology, Critical Care, Step-down, Obstetrics, or Rehabilitation.
- Additional Information:
- The unit utilizes Meditech electronic documentation system.
- Team-oriented and passionate staff, including a charge nurse, clinical educator, and cardiology team, support this assignment.
- The team emphasizes patient care excellence with a focus on safety, communication, and patient satisfaction, including daily nurse leader rounds.
- Uniform Policy: Royal blue scrub tops with royal blue or black pants, or grey, white, or black undershirts.
- The unit performs procedures such as basic medical telemetry procedures, with a focus on cardiac patient care.
