Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry.
The role requires providing direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
The nurse will monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort.
Working conditions include standing and walking for prolonged periods.
There is a significant amount of bending, stooping, and lifting patients with assistance.
High-risk exposure to blood and body fluids may be present.
Physical demands include pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs., and pinching up to 15 lbs.
The nurse will utilize the nursing process to provide care for patients following trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities.
Professional accountability for the provision of patient care is expected.
The nurse will evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers.
Maintaining patient rights and confidentiality is essential.
Duties must be performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and service standards.

Dress code includes wearing black scrubs; unacceptable attire includes torn clothes and open-toed shoes.
Floating to other units may be required on a rotational basis.
