Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 41-bed Medical Telemetry unit serving cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psychiatric, substance use disorder, GU, and GI patient populations
• Interpret telemetry strips and monitor cardiac rhythms continuously
• Manage cardiac drips, TR bands, and high-flow oxygen therapy
• Maintain clinician-to-patient ratios of 1:4/5 on days and 1:5/6 on evenings and nights
• Document all patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical records system
• Float to applicable units as needed based on census and staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
• AHA-certified Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a single location in a relevant clinical setting
• Minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to interpret telemetry strips
• Proficiency with cardiac telemetry and cardiac drip management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with TR bands and high-flow oxygen therapy
• Prior experience with EPIC EMR
• Background working with diverse patient populations including psychiatric and substance use disorder patients
