TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Salem, Massachusetts, 01970!
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to adult medical patients on a 24-bed private room inpatient medical telemetry unit
Read and interpret cardiac telemetry strips as a core clinical function of the role
Maintain a clinician-to-patient ratio of 4-5 patients per RN
Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
Float to other units as needed to support staffing requirements
Rotate shifts as needed to cover open night shifts, with a small number of day rotations per month
Required Qualifications
Active Massachusetts RN License
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum 3 years of experience in a single location, or 2 years of travel nursing experience
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret cardiac telemetry strips
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience working on a medical telemetry or medical/surgical telemetry unit
Familiarity with EPIC EMR charting system
Experience caring for adult medical patient populations
