Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
Manage and care for ventilated patients, including tracheostomy management - required skill
Utilize Meditech for electronic charting and documentation
Float to Med/Surg unit as needed based on staffing requirements
Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Required Qualifications
Active RN license - compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted
ACLS certification required
BCLS certification required
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
Minimum 1 year of Telemetry RN experience required
Demonstrated experience with ventilated patients and tracheostomy management required
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard rate; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a local rate
All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted at time of candidate submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience with Meditech charting system
Flexibility to float between sister facilities in the surrounding area
Experience working in an acute care hospital environment
