Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) Nurse in Portland. This role involves delivering high-quality, coordinated nursing care to patients in a specialized telemetry unit. The position requires supervising and directing nursing staff while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote patient safety, recovery, and well-being.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Acute care facility experience preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required; AHA-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or ARC-Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required.
- Essential Functions: Collects relevant patient health data; analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues; develops and implements care plans; evaluates patient outcomes; collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams; provides health education; participates in discharge planning; delegates and coordinates duties of healthcare team members; performs other related duties.
