Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Tele

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide care for inpatient adults with life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions. This role requires expertise in managing a variety of cardiovascular diagnoses including but not limited to sepsis, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and coronary artery disease.

Shift and Schedule

Shifts: 4x12 Hours (Nights: 19:00 - 07:30)
Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend, subject to change based on needs
Floating: Required to other units or facilities as needed

Patient Population

The patient population may include:

Cardiac patients receiving IV antiarrhythmic therapy
Patients on vasoactive infusions
Patients requiring anticoagulation therapy

Special Procedures and Unit Details

Administration of vasoactive drugs
Antiarrhythmic drug therapy
Thrombolytic therapy
Defibrillation and cardioversion
Thoracentesis
Cardiac telemetry monitoring
Electrocardiograms (EKG)
Non-invasive blood pressure monitoring

Qualifications

Current South Carolina RN license
ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification
Minimum of 1 year of EPIC experience
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Telemetry or related field is preferred
First-time travelers may be considered based on overall experience
