Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Cardiac Telemetry to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to inpatient adults with life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions, including but not limited to:

Sepsis
Myocardial Infarction (MI)
Unstable Angina
Coronary Artery Disease

The patient population may also include those receiving IV antiarrhythmic therapy, vasoactive infusions, and anticoagulation therapy.

Key Responsibilities

Administration of vasoactive drugs and antiarrhythmic therapies.
Thrombolytic therapy and defibrillation/cardioversion procedures.
Conduct thoracentesis and cardiac telemetry monitoring.
Perform EKGs and non-invasive blood pressure monitoring.
Ensure comprehensive patient assessments and care planning.
Float to various units or facilities based on patient care needs.

Shifts and Scheduling

This position requires working 3x12 night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, with weekend coverage on an alternating basis based on needs.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Minimum of 1 year of experience with EPIC electronic health records.
A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in the field is preferred.

New travelers with the relevant experience may be considered.
