Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Tele

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Telemetry team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to adult patients with life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions, including but not limited to sepsis, myocardial infarction (MI), unstable angina, and coronary artery disease. The candidate will also support patients undergoing intravenous antiarrhythmic therapy, vasoactive infusions, and anticoagulation therapy.

Shift Details

Schedule: 3x12 Hour NIGHTS (19:00 - 07:30)
Weekend coverage is required every other weekend, subject to change based on staffing needs.
Floating to other units or facilities may be required based on patient care needs.

Key Responsibilities

Administer vasoactive and antiarrhythmic drugs as prescribed.
Conduct thrombolytic therapy, defibrillation, and cardioversion as necessary.
Perform thoracentesis and provide cardiac telemetry monitoring.
Utilize EKG and non-invasive blood pressure monitoring for patient assessment.
Provide comprehensive nursing care that includes monitoring and evaluating patient conditions.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina.
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
Minimum of 1 year of experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
At least 2 years of relevant nursing experience preferred. First-time travelers will be considered based on overall experience.
