The Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a telemetry unit. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for individuals experiencing acute and chronic health conditions.
May occasionally float to other units based on divisional needs, including acute care or overflow/surge units.
Every other weekend is required.
Must work two major holidays, selecting from the following options: Thanksgiving Eve or Day, Christmas Eve or Day, or New Year's Eve or Day, based on unit needs.
The unit consists of 36 beds, including 29 private rooms and 7 semi-private spaces. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:3 or 1:4. It is a general medical-surgical/telemetry unit, serving as a catch-all for various patient needs.
Orientation will include participation in New Employee Orientation (NEO) on the first two days, followed by departmental training for the next two days, and virtual EPIC training on the final day of the orientation week.
This facility has a nicotine-free policy. Bi-weekly pay is offered, with specific cancellation and notice policies in place for scheduled shifts.
