TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience on the cardiac floor required. License: NC or Compact license pending ok for submission. Certifications: BLS & ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Minimum 2 years of experience on the cardiac floor required. Traveler experience is required unless the traveler has more than 24 months of cardiac experience. Skills required include Cardiac Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, sheath removal, and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. Ratios vary per acuity. Ratios are 1:4 for surgical step down, and 1:5-6 for lower acuity. Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work during emergencies. Contract staff may be required to report to work during catastrophic events or disasters. Staff must be open to floating within or near the facility as needed. Patient diagnoses include Atrial Fibrillation, CHF, ACS, CAD, aortic stenosis/regurgitation, mitral regurgitation/stenosis, and cardiomyopathy. Special procedures include CABG, AVR, MVR, TAVR, and other cardiac surgeries. Special equipment used includes arterial lines, Doppler, bladder scanner, EKG, and chest tubes. Unit systems for medication and documentation include Pyxis and EPIC. Weekend requirements are 4 per 4 weeks and are flexible. All required skills and certifications should be up to date and presented during the interview process.
