Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume acute care setting, covering both Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed
- Float between MedSurg and Telemetry units based on census and staffing needs
- Perform clinical assessments and manage patient care plans appropriate to an acute care environment
- Maintain availability for a minimum of 3 shifts per week, including weekend shifts
- Participate in Masterbook scheduling with a commitment of at least 1 shift per month
Required Qualifications- Current and valid state RN license in good standing
- Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital experience
- Recent experience in both Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing
- Ability to work weekend shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills- Meditech EMR experience strongly preferred; candidates without Meditech experience may have access to facility-sponsored orientation/training, subject to availability and compensation eligibility
- Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills in a high-acuity environment
- Prior experience floating between MedSurg and Telemetry units
