Job Summary:
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Night shift Location not specified. This position involves providing specialized care to neurology and neurosurgical patients in a short-term acute care setting. Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license acceptable), at least 1 year of nursing experience, experience with patient ratios of 4-5 patients, and proficiency with the charting system Epic.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for neuro patients, familiarity with the NIH Stroke Scale, and neuro-specific procedures such as management of craniotomies, CVA, and spinal cord injuries.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to meet unit needs.
- Additional Information: The role involves working in a designated stroke and spine center of excellence, with neuro-specific procedures and designated stroke unit responsibilities. The assignment requires compliance with module completion prior to start and during orientation, with a 36-hour orientation period. Candidates must commit to working three of the five holidays listed and adhere to scheduling requests made during submittal. References covering 1 year of recent clinical experience, including charge or lead roles, are required.
