Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to cardiovascular patients, including post cath-lab patients (STEMIs, PCIs, TAVRs, sheath pulls), heart failure, arrhythmias, and s/p PPM/ICD
- Perform continuous telemetry interpretation as a core function of the role
- Assist with or monitor cardiovascular procedures including stent management, TAVR care, and sheath pulls
- Work every 3rd weekend as part of the standard schedule
- Float within the hospital or to an affiliate facility within scope as needed to meet staffing needs
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (Minnesota license in hand preferred; must be obtained at time of offer if not already held)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Telemetry RN experience
- Proficiency with telemetry interpretation required
- Epic/Excellian charting experience required
- Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals accepted for Radiology positions only)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Knowledge of cardiovascular procedures including stents, TAVRs, and sheath pulls
- Experience caring for post cath-lab patient populations
- Familiarity with Magnet-designated, teaching hospital, or Level III Trauma environments
