We’re seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Telemetry to join a dedicated cardiac and medical-surgical care team in Salt Lake City, UT.

- Weekly Pay:$2,000 to $2,200
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry and cardiac patients throughout their hospital stay
- Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, pain, neurological status, cardiac status, and overall condition
- Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms, telemetry readings, oxygen saturation, and other critical indicators
- Recognize abnormal rhythms and changes in patient condition and promptly notify the appropriate healthcare provider
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other prescribed treatments safely
- Monitor IV lines, central lines, drains, catheters, and other patient care devices
- Assess patients for signs of cardiac deterioration, respiratory distress, infection, or other complications
- Respond appropriately to rapid responses, emergencies, and changes in patient condition
- Provide wound care, post-operative care, and other treatments according to orders and facility protocols
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, lifestyle changes, and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with physicians, cardiologists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, case managers, and other members of the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Follow infection prevention, medication safety, HIPAA, and patient safety standards
- Support discharge planning and continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active Utah Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry or cardiac nursing experience
- Current BLS Certification required
- Current ACLS Certification required
- PALS Certification preferred or required by facility
- Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
- Experience caring for cardiac, medical-surgical, and higher-acuity patients
- Strong understanding of emergency response and cardiac interventions
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Excellent clinical judgment, assessment, and critical-thinking skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Comfortable working night shifts
