Number of Beds: 44
Number of Staff: 75
Day shift staffing grid calls for 1 charge nurse, 11 RNs, 4 CNAs, and 1 unit secretary.
Night shift staffing grid calls for 1 charge nurse, 10 RNs, 4 CNAs, and 1 unit secretary.
Patient Ratios: 1:6 on day shift, 1:7 on night shift.
Type of equipment: Telemetry, PCA, wound vacs, Baxter IV pumps, TPN, tube feeds, urinary catheters.
EMR: Cerner.
Typical Hiring Profile:
Skill set most recruited for includes telemetry competency.
Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Typical procedures performed include TPN, PCA, wound vacs, tube feeds, PEG tubes, dobhoffs, NG tubes, colostomies, urostomies, drains, heparin drips, IV antibiotics, and various surgical procedures.
