Description

Job Opportunity – Telemetry Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement; patient ratio 1:4-5; maximum 7 days requested time off per contract

Highlights:

  • 36-bed telemetry unit with average daily census of 35 patients serving adult to geriatric populations
  • Diverse case mix including CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, cardiac catheterizations, device implants, and more
  • Epic EMR experience required; SBAR communication model utilized
  • First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
  • Floating may be required within facility and scope of practice; no call requirements

Requirements:

  • Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
  • Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience
  • BLS and ACLS certification required; NIH Stroke Scale preferred
  • Epic EMR proficiency required
  • Experience managing cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration): milrinone, dobutamine, amiodarone, cardizem, lidocaine, bumex, and heparin
  • Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
  • Full compliance documentation due prior to start date
