**Job Description:**

- We are seeking passionate and skilled RN Telemetry nurses to join our high-energy team!
**Unit Details:**
- **Number of Beds:** 29
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:6
- **Type of Equipment:**
- i-mobile phones for each care team member
- Mobile computer workstation on wheels
- Mobilab for lab drawers
- Alaris IV pumps
- **Documentation System:** Meditech
**Schedule Requirements:**
- 3 - 12 hour shifts per week
- Every other weekend commitment required
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Floating policy: Travelers may float to the emergency department or telemetry monitoring room as needed
- Conduct bedside shift reports for patient handoff
- Use AIDET and participate in RN/MD rounding
- Collaborate with physicians and ancillary departments for effective patient care
**Patient Care Expectations:**
- Provide care for 6 Telemetry patients/post cardiac procedures: PCI, PPM, ICD, or Ablations
- Proficiently read telemetry strips and manage patient care plans
- Engage in discharge planning and patient education
**Advanced Skills Required:**
- Phlebotomy
- Administer respiratory treatments (inhalers and nebulizers)
- Foley Catheter care and maintenance
- Management of Cardiac Drips (Cardizem, Amio, Nitro, Dobutamine)
**Certifications Required:**
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH stroke scale certification

- Navy uniform
