- Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
- Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
Description:
This position requires a registered nurse with a specialty in cardiac telemetry.
The patient population includes adults and geriatrics.
Nurses will manage patients with diagnoses such as angina, chest pain, heart failure, STEMI, NSTEMI, CABG, cardiac catheterization, TVAR, and PPM.
The typical patient-to-nurse ratio is 4-5 patients per nurse.
The unit operates with a daily average census of 28 patients in a 32-bed unit.
Nurses will work with various interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
Floating within the facility may be required as needed.
Travel nurses are expected to work major holidays based on their assignment period.
Compliance with onboarding and documentation is mandatory for timely start.
Candidates must have previous travel experience.
This role does not allow for any requests for time off post-offer or during the orientation period.
