Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit with continuous cardiac monitoring
• Administer and manage cardiac drips and insulin drips
• Float as needed between the Med Surg Telemetry Unit (MTSU), Cardio-Pulmonary Step-Down Unit (CPSU), Special Progressive Care Unit, and Cardiac Observation Unit
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Cardiac drip and insulin drip experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• ACLS, BCLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a step-down or progressive care unit setting
• Familiarity with cardiac observation and cardio-pulmonary patient populations
• Demonstrated ability to float across multiple units in a fast-paced environment
