Contract | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit with continuous cardiac monitoring
• Float between the Med Surg Telemetry Unit (MTSU), Cardio-Pulmonary Step-Down Unit (CPSU), Special Progressive Care Unit, and Cardiac Observation Unit as needed
• Manage and administer cardiac drips and insulin drips
• Document patient care accurately using the Epic EMR system
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition in a step-down or progressive care environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Cardiac drip and insulin drip experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• ACLS, BCLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a cardio-pulmonary step-down or progressive care setting
• Familiarity with cardiac observation protocols
