Experience with diuretics: Bumex, Lasix.
Experience with anticoagulants: Aggrastat, Argatroban, Heparin.
Experience with insulin drips.
Basic arrhythmia knowledge is essential.
Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and care of patients post PCI.
Description:
This position requires a registered nurse specializing in cardiac telemetry.
The nurse will care for adults to geriatric patients.
The role involves overflow IMCU responsibilities.
Skills in arrhythmia management, cardioversion, and cardiac CHF care are necessary.
The nurse will work with patients experiencing chest pain, renal, and pulmonary issues.
Occasional management of surgical patients and those with vascular conditions is required.
The nurse will manage patients recovering from cardiac catheterization and those with DKA.
Anticipate a patient ratio of 1:5-6 with a total of 32 beds.
Candidates should be familiar with Epic or similar charting systems.
Ability to float within the facility and work weekends as necessary is expected.
Call requirements are rare, with a two-hour response time.
Travelers are expected to work holidays per assignment agreements.
Compliance with all onboarding protocols is essential for timely start.
This position offers interdisciplinary support from various health services.
