TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Charlotte, North Carolina.
UNIT: 4T Surgical TELE
CLINICAL INTERVIEWS
Experience Required: 1.5 years. Cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with non-titrating Cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone), general medical/surgical skillset – care of patients with tubes/drains, IV start skills, blood products, wound care/dressing changes, etc.
Certs Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Med dispensing: Omnicell
Monitors: Phillips
Rover Communication
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: MedSurg: DKA, Sepsis, Wounds, CHF, AKI, PNA, Diabetes, Anemia, Sickle Cell Crisis. Surgical: Pancreatitis, Spinal Fusions, Ortho total joints – Knees/Hips
Patient Ratios: RN: Days: 1:5; Nights: 1:6 - (surge staffing could increase ratios up to 1:7-8)
Floating: Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children’s Hospital)
If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)
