The Telemetry Nurse will support exceptional patient outcomes through critical thinking and effective collaboration within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: Responsible for monitoring and assessing patients cardiac rhythms and vital signs, responding to changes in patient conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care at a facility licensed for 815 beds.
- Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification, appropriate nursing licensure, and minimum of 0 years of experience.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates should possess telemetry rhythm capabilities, critical thinking skills, ability to assess medical-surgical level patients, and alert charge nurses or providers when acuity levels change. Good communication skills and punctuality are essential. Candidates with ACLS certification will be considered first. Must follow hospital policies, attend designated huddles, and adhere to the units dress code and guidelines.
