Description:
This position is for a registered nurse specializing in telemetry.
The nurse will provide direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
The role involves monitoring and coordinating patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort and care.
Nurses must maintain professional accountability for patient care and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other staff.
Responsibilities include coordinating patient care in conjunction with other departments and upholding patient rights and confidentiality.
Nurses will utilize the nursing process for patient care, particularly for those post-trauma, undergoing surgical interventions, or dealing with medical comorbidities.
The working environment requires standing and walking for most of the shift, with significant bending, stooping, and lifting of patients with assistance.
Nurses may work differing schedules based on patient care requirements and are subject to exposure to blood and body fluids.
