- Experience and competence in drug titration
Description:
The position involves providing direct patient care activities for all age groups.
This includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
The RN will monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments.
The aim is to optimize patient care and comfort.
Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care for individuals with trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities.
The RN maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care.
Evaluating the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers is essential.
Coordination of patient care in conjunction with other departments is required.
Maintaining patient rights and confidentiality of patient information is crucial.
Duties must be performed in a manner consistent with established guidelines and standards of practice.
The role demands standing and walking most of the time on duty.
Significant bending, stooping, and lifting may be required.
Physical demands include pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs.
The RN must be able to kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally.
The working environment presents high risk exposure to blood and body fluids.
Flexibility in schedules and shifts according to patient care requirements is necessary.
