Description
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit within a 266-bed acute-care hospital
Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Accurately document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes in the electronic health record
Maintain compliance with facility policies, accreditation standards, and applicable regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
Active RN license valid in the state of Florida (or multistate compact license)
Current BLS certification required
Minimum of 2 years of recent Telemetry nursing experience
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience in a telemetry or step-down setting
Familiarity with cardiac monitoring systems and telemetry equipment
Experience working in a large, accredited acute-care hospital environment
