Candidates must have BLS and ACLS certifications. Description: This is a travel RN position in telemetry. The unit comprises 33 beds and has 30 staff members. Staffing includes 1 Charge nurse and a ratio of RNs based upon 5:1 during both day and night shifts. There are no technicians on the unit. Patient ratios are estimated at 5:1 but are never guaranteed. The unit utilizes EMR Meditech/CPN for documentation. Typical procedures performed on this unit include managing IV drips, EKGs, and administering medications. Staff members also manage chest tubes and devices like pacemakers. The ideal candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude, and demonstrate compassion, care, and flexibility. Patient care experience is a priority for this role. Candidates with prior experience in large trauma facilities and those familiar with the Meditech system will be considered first.
