### Exciting Opportunity: RN Neurology 6C - Nights
**Job Description:**
- Join a dynamic team providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced neurology unit.
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Specialty: Telemetry
- Openings: 1
- Shift: Nights (1900-0700)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48
- Required Licensure: Current RN License in Missouri
- Required Certifications: BLS from AHA only, NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
- Preferred Experience: 1 year Neuro, inpatient only
- Must Have Skills:
- 1 year Telemetry experience, inpatient only
- Experience and competence in drug titration
- Patient Ratios:
- Days: 1:5-1:6
- Nights: 1:6-1:7
- Type of Patients: Neuro, Med, Med Tele
- Equipment: Telemetry, Lift equipment, IV pumps, tube feeding pumps
- EMR System: EPIC
- Dress Code: Black scrubs only
**Unit Information:**
- Number of Beds: 32
- Float Requirements: Rotational floating as needed
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accountability for the provision of quality care.
- Collaborate with ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort.
- Uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
- Adhere to established nursing practice guidelines.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Significant bending, stooping, lifting, and turning of patients.
- May require varied schedules based on patient care demands.
- High risk exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
- Physical demands include push, pull, grip capabilities up to 50 lbs.
