**Exciting Opportunity for a Neurology RN - Nights!**
- Join a dynamic team in a renowned Neurology unit!
- Position: RN in Telemetry
- Shift: Nights, 1900-0700
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Weekly Hours: 36 or 48 (please indicate preference)
- Number of Openings: 1
- Patient Ratios: Days 1:5-1:6, Nights 1:6-1:7 (ratios subject to change)
- Float Requirements: Rotational floating among units
**Unit Information:**
- Number of Beds: 32
- Equipment: Telemetry, Lift equipment, IV pumps, Tube feeding pumps
- EMR System: EPIC
**Role Responsibilities:**
- Utilize the nursing process to provide direct patient care
- Conduct assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care activities
- Coordinate patient care with other departments for optimal comfort and care
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
- Ensure compliance with Mercy Mission and Values and Mercy Service Standards
**Qualifications:**
- Required Experience: 1+ year in Telemetry, inpatient settings
- Required Licensure: Current RN License in Missouri or eligibility for licensure
- Required Certification: BLS from AHA, NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
- Desired Skills: Experience in drug titration, Neuro experience preferred
**Working Conditions:**
- Stand and walk for the majority of the shift
- Meet unit-specific physical demands (lifting, bending, stooping)
- High-risk exposure to blood and bodily fluids

- Scrub Color: Black
- Note: Only black scrubs are acceptable
