TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, 27801!
Key Responsibilities
Deliver clinically competent nursing care to patients on a Telemetry/Stepdown unit
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
Administer and manage cardiac drips as required by patient condition
Float to additional units (such as COVID unit) as needed based on staffing demands
Perform and document neurological assessments using NIHSS per protocol
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or compact state
Telemetry experience required
Cardiac drip experience required
Basic Arrhythmia certification required (minimum passing score of 85%)
NIHSS certification required (renewed annually)
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Prior experience in a Stepdown or progressive care setting
