We’re seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Telemetry (RN – Tele) to join a dedicated healthcare team in Mount Clemens, MI.

- Weekly Pay:$1,840 to $2,040
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry and medically complex patients
- Perform thorough head-to-toe assessments and monitor patients for changes in condition
- Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, oxygen saturation, and other clinical indicators
- Recognize abnormal cardiac rhythms and promptly communicate significant changes to the healthcare team
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other prescribed treatments safely
- Manage IV lines, central lines, drains, catheters, and other patient-care devices
- Monitor patients with cardiac, respiratory, and other acute medical conditions
- Observe patients receiving cardiac medications, anticoagulants, and other high-alert medications
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
- Assist with admissions, transfers, procedures, treatments, and discharge activities
- Provide post-operative care, wound care, and other treatments according to patient needs
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, lifestyle changes, and discharge instructions
- Promote fall prevention, infection prevention, mobility, nutrition, hydration, and overall patient safety
- Respond appropriately to rapid responses, emergencies, and code situations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Collaborate with physicians, cardiologists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, CNAs, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
- Support discharge planning and continuity of care
- Follow facility policies, infection-control procedures, HIPAA requirements, and patient-safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry nursing experience
- Current BLS Certification required
- Current ACLS Certification required or preferred based on facility requirements
- Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring and telemetry nursing
- Ability to identify and interpret common cardiac rhythms
- Experience with medication administration, IV therapy, and comprehensive patient assessment
- Experience caring for patients with cardiac and acute medical conditions
- Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to prioritize effectively during night-shift operations
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
