Job Summary:
The specialized Telemetry Nurse position in Tulsa, Oklahoma, involves providing direct nursing care within a 28-bed cardiac telemetry unit. The role requires collaborating with healthcare team members to implement and monitor patient care plans, communicate patient conditions, and coordinate discharge planning. The unit functions as a Level I trauma center, caring for patients of all ages, with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:4-6, supported by patient care technicians and a healthcare unit coordinator. The position operates on a night shift schedule, encompassing up to six weekend shifts and holidays as needed during a six-week rotation.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, 1 year of clinical nursing experience, ability to work night shifts, positive communication skills, and relevant certifications as required by the healthcare organization
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac telemetry or critical care nursing, proficiency in virtual sitter monitoring and telemetry technology
  • Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
