TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Lewisville, Texas, 75022!
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a 19-bed Surgical Telemetry unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
Utilize Baxter IV pumps, Welch Allyn VS machines, and Meditech EMR to deliver and document care
Perform ambulation of patients and wound care as needed
Collaborate with an RN/LVN/PCT team including charge nurses and patient care technicians on day shift
Float to sister departments including Ortho Trauma and Inpatient Rehab as needed
Work alongside an admission/discharge team to support the admitting and discharging process for medical-surgical patients
Required Qualifications
Active RN license valid in the state of Texas
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience
Minimum 1 year of Telemetry experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
Charge nurse experience
Preceptor experience
Positive attitude and strong team-player mentality
