Schedule / Job TypeContract | Per Diem | Days | Availability expected a minimum of 3 days per week, with weekend availability required
Key Responsibilities- Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the Telemetry Unit
- Provide direct patient care within the full scope of the Registered Nurse practice
- Monitor patients via cardiac telemetry and communicate changes in clinical condition, diagnostic results, and symptomatology to the treating physician
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and/or response to treatment
- Direct and guide patient and family teaching as appropriate
- Supervise and guide the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining unit standards of care
Required Qualifications- Current and valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- EPIC EMR experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Ventilator management experience
- COVID vaccination and booster(s) up to date
