If candidates do not have wound care experience or work history, please do not submit. The unit consists of a 32-bed capacity, utilizing 24 beds at this time. There are 32 core staff members on the unit. Staffing on the day shift operates on a patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:5. The night shift staff may work a patient ratio of 1:4, 1:5, or 1:6. The unit includes wound vacs and operates on an EMR system. Typical procedures performed on this unit include complex dressing changes, IV antibiotics, and pain management.
