Description:
The Telemetry unit has 24 beds and a staffing of 45 personnel.
The day shift includes 1 Charge Nurse, 5 RNs, 3 Patient Care Technicians, and 1 Secretary.
The night shift consists of 1 Charge Nurse, 5 RNs, and 3 Patient Care Technicians.
Patient ratios are 1:5 or 1:6.
The unit utilizes MEDITECH for electronic medical records.
Typical procedures performed on the unit include Foley insertion, peripheral IV starts, blood draws, and code stroke initiation.
The ideal candidate is a people person and a team player.
Every other weekend availability is required.
Floating areas may include Progressive Care Unit and Medical-Surgical.
Scrub color for attire is royal blue.
