Job TitleTravel Registered Nurse - Medical/Telemetry (Nights)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a medical/telemetry unit with a maximum patient ratio of 6:1
- Perform standard nursing skills including IV insertion, urinary catheter insertion and maintenance, and central line maintenance
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses in accordance with unit protocols
- Accurately document patient care and clinical findings in the electronic health record (Meditech EMR)
- Communicate effectively with all members of the interdisciplinary care team to support patient-centered outcomes
- Float to med/surg units as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum 2+ years of acute med/surg experience within the last year
- Demonstrated ability to manage 4-6 patients simultaneously
Preferred Experience / Skills- 2+ years of orthopedic nursing experience
- Experience caring for med/surg orthopedic patient populations
