Description:
This role involves providing patient care in a tele unit.
The unit consists of 45 beds and includes a diverse staff.
Typical patient ratios are 1:6.
Equipment used includes bladder scanners, vein viewers, tube feed pumps, and IV infusion pumps.
Charting is conducted using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Procedures performed include medical-surgical care for urology, bariatrics, and general surgical patients, as well as management of infectious diseases.

The dress code requires scrubs in royal blue with no artificial nails permitted.
