Description:
The unit has 47 beds.
Staffing includes a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, RNs, and Patient Care Technicians.
Patient ratios are 4-6 depending on acuity.
Equipment used includes Alaris pumps, PYXIS machine, Epicardial pacing boxes, and LVAD equipment.
The EMR system in use is Meditech.
Typical procedures performed include blood transfusions, IV drip titration, pain medication administration, and other medication administration.
The ideal candidate will be positive, a team player, and patient-centered.
The culture is focused on caring for patients like family.
Weekends are scheduled on a rotating basis.
No on-call duties are expected.
Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
