# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Telemetry – Texas**Start Date:** September 21, 2026 **Location:** Austin, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 13-week contract, every other weekend scheduling, no call required**Highlights:** - 34-bed private room telemetry unit with 5:1 patient ratio- Work with cardiac patients including stress tests, heart catheterization, CABG, and advanced respiratory care- GE Telemetry, Pyxis medication system, Welch Allen vital sign monitors, and Meditech EMR- Structured staffing model with charge nurse, RNs, PCTs, and unit clerk support- May float to Med/Surg, Med/Surg Telemetry, and ED holding for similar level of care- Navy scrubs provided dress code**Requirements:** - Active RN license- ACLS and BLS certification required- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills- Experience with respiratory management including advanced airways and oxygen management- Experience with cardiac drips (non-titrated)- CPR certification current**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This telemetry position offers the chance to work with a collaborative team caring for complex cardiac and respiratory patients in a well-staffed environment.
