Registered Nurse – Telemetry
Location
Portland, OR | Short Term Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | Onsite | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit within a short-term acute care facility, maintaining an expected patient ratio of 1:4
- Float between units within the facility as needed based on staffing and patient census
- Utilize Epic for all clinical documentation and charting
- Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
- Complete required facility modules prior to start and during orientation as directed
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in acute care or med/surg
- Must submit all time-off requests and scheduling needs upfront at the time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (may include Charge RNs or Leads)
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals may be considered at a different rate)
- Facility does not accept Nursys or background check hits
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a telemetry-specific unit
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
- Experience floating between units or sister facilities in a travel or per-diem capacity
