Key Responsibilities- Monitor and interpret telemetry data to assess patient cardiac status and respond to changes in condition
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with physician orders, facility protocols, and nursing best practices
- Administer medications and treatments, documenting accurately in the patient medical record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas or compact licensure eligibility
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required or must be obtained prior to start
- Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a telemetry, step-down, or cardiac unit setting
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in a fast-paced environment
