**Job Description:**
- **Location:** 7-South, St. David’s South Austin Medical Center
- **Discipline:** Ortho/Trauma
- **Target Start Date:** ASAP
- **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- **Call Requirements:** None
- **Weekends:** Every Other
**Unit Information:**
- **Number of Beds:** 34
- **Staffing:**
- **Day Shift:** 1 Charge Nurse, 6 Nurses, 3 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), 1 Unit Clerk
- **Night Shift:** 1 Charge Nurse, 6 Nurses, 2 PCTs
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:6
- **Equipment:** Welch Allyn Vital Signs, GE Telemetry Monitoring
- **EMR:** MediTech
**Typical Hiring Profile:**
- **Must Have:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Med/Surg Experience
- **Preferred/Nice to Have:**
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
**Typical Procedures Performed:**
- Wound Vac Management
- CPM Machines
- External Fixation
- Bracing
