**Join Our Dynamic 2 West Telemetry Team!** **Job Description** - **Position**: Travel RN - 2 West Telemetry - **Shift**: 7 AM - 7 PM - **Duration**: 13 Weeks - **Unit Information**: - **Number of Beds**: 8 inpatient beds + 8 admission unit beds (flexible up to 12 based on census) - **Staffing**: 10 caring professionals - **Day Shift**: 1 Charge Nurse, 2 RNs, 1 PCA - **Night Shift**: 1 Charge Nurse, 2 RNs, 1 PCA - **Patient Ratios**: Maximum 6:1 - **Equipment**: Standard medical equipment - **EMR**: Meditech - **Patient Population**: Med/Surg patients - **Qualifications**: - **Required**: - 1+ year of acute med/surg experience within the last year - Ability to manage a patient load of 4-6 at a time - **Preferred**: - 2+ years of acute med/surg experience within the last year - Background in ortho or neuro-surgery; Med/Surg/Telemetry experience is acceptable - **Typical Procedures**: - Care for med/surg patients - Standard nursing skills: - IV insertions - Urinary catheter insertion/maintenance - Central line maintenance - Medication administration - Effective communication with the care team - Documentation in EHR - **Personality Fit**: - Friendly - Positive - Patient-centered - Team-focused - **Required Certifications**: - Active RN license - **Floating Areas**: - Med/Surg units - **Dress Code**: - Scrubs - **Weekends and On-Call**: - Normal rotating weekends; flexibility needed for travel RNs **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol)**: At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
